AirVista - Weather Quality Reporting and Forecasting
AirVista is a lifestyle app that reports and forecasts weather quality based on the results of the WRF-Chem weather quality forecasting model. This model provides real-time forecasts up to 3-5 days in advance with a maximum grid resolution of 4 km. The app can be used to access weather quality data and other related information in areas where there are few or no measuring tools available.
AirVista not only reports weather quality forecasting results but also includes reports on other weather quality-related information such as rainfall, wind, temperature, and air quality index. In addition, the app reports PM2.5 ground-level dust measurement data and hotspots from satellite-detected fires to check the current weather quality situation. AirVista provides advice on reducing health risks from air pollution to the public and offers necessary information for decision-makers working in pollution control and prevention. However, the model is still under research and development, and users should use it under these limitations.
